My Story
Hi, I'm Petra Jacob, mother, entrepreneur, founder and head loctician at Fantabulous Locs. I've had a challenging experience with my hair from dealing with tight braiders damaging my hair, wearing wigs that were suffocating my hair, to simply not knowing how to handle my hair and not having the time to figure it out. Until the day I saw a friend rocking Sisterlocks. From that moment, I was captivated and knew I had to have them for myself. Getting Sisterlocks was a turning point for me, as it boosted my confidence to new heights.
Starting my loc journey with 4 inches of hair, I've learned the values of patience and acceptance through every stage of my loc journey. It has been a transformative process that has shaped me into the person I am today. Inspired by my own journey, I decided to become a loctician. My goal is to share the sense of sisterhood, confidence, and empowerment that I've experienced through locs with other women who, just like me, are seeking that connection and self-assurance.
